Tour Details

The north tour includes:

Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius, founded in 1735 during the French colonial era.

Next:

The beautiful Caudan Waterfront.

Visit:

Blue Penny Museum, home to one of the world’s most expensive stamps.

Stop at:

Central Market, the most colourful market in Mauritius, where you can find exotic fruits, vegetables, spices, souvenirs, taste street foods and many more.

Next:

Fort Adelaide (Citadel), built in 1840 during the British colonial period. From there, you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the entire capital.

Botanical garden at Pamplemousses:

the beautiful Botanical Garden, where you will discover exotic plant species, including the Famous Victoria Amazonica, Lotuses and giant tortoises.

A visit to the Sugar Museum at an old sugar factory to discover the Sugar world.

Other optional stops include a tea tasting session at Kuanfu Tea, the colonial house at Domaine Labourdonnais.
